TheCyworld Digital Music Awards was a South Korean music awards ceremony. It was established in 2006 to recognize songs with the largest monthly digital sales on the Cyworld social network service. Monthly awards were also given to popular songs by new artists, popular songs by international artists, and critically acclaimed songs. Annual awards were given for the most popular songs of 2009 and 2010.
1 Hey guys, I have decided to make a thread about the Cyworld Digital Music Korean 싸이월드 was a South Korean social network service. Cyworld also had its own music selling platform which was the dominant music platform alongside Melon in the Cyworld Digital Music Awards Korean 싸이월드 디지털 뮤직 어워드 was a South Korean music awards ceremony. It was established in 2006 to recognize songs with the largest monthly digital sales on the Cyworld social network thread covers the 'Song of the Month' award which ran from July 2006 to May 2013. So it covers songs from the pre-Gaon era. Lies is easily one of the biggest songs released by an idol group Korea. 4 I also want to give a shoutout to Busker Busker. Cherry Blossom Ending was the best performing song In April 2012 and then again in March 2013 a year later. I can't think of any song off the top of my head that could have done this, with a large gap in between, in the current era. Maybe a gap of 1-2 months, but not 10 months. 5 It's interesting how this Cyworld award, unlike the Gaon award, allowed a song to win Song of the Month for more than one month.
